How much does computer setup cost?
Our computer setup service includes 1 hour of technician time, payable online when you book. This covers setting up your new computer or laptop, installing essential software, configuring email, connecting to your WiFi network, and transferring files from your old device. Most setups are completed within the hour. Additional time can be booked if needed.
Can you help me set up my new laptop?
Yes, we set up new laptops of all brands including Windows laptops, MacBooks, and Chromebooks. We handle the initial setup, create your user accounts, configure Windows or macOS settings, install your preferred software, set up email, connect to WiFi, and transfer files from your old laptop. We can also remove bloatware and optimize performance.
Do you set up printers?
Yes, we set up all types of printers including wireless printers, network printers, and multifunction devices. We connect your printer to WiFi, install drivers on all your devices (computers, laptops, phones), configure scanning and copying features, and test everything. We work with HP, Canon, Epson, Brother, and all major brands.
Can you transfer data from my old computer?
Yes, data transfer is included in our setup service. We transfer your documents, photos, music, videos, browser bookmarks, and email from your old computer to your new one. We can also transfer from Mac to PC or PC to Mac. If your old computer isn't working, we can often recover the data as part of the setup.
Do you set up smart TVs?
Yes, we set up smart TVs and streaming devices. We connect your TV to WiFi, set up your streaming apps (Netflix, Stan, Disney+, etc.), configure picture and sound settings, connect soundbars or home theatre systems, and show you how to use everything. We work with Samsung, LG, Sony, TCL, Hisense, and all major brands.
Can you set up my WiFi and router?
Yes, we set up WiFi routers and home networks. We configure your router settings, set up a secure WiFi network with a strong password, extend coverage with mesh systems or extenders if needed, and connect all your devices. We also optimize settings for better speed and security.
