Get a Mount Ommaney Technician at Your Door

Mount Ommaney is a small, leafy riverside suburb where most homes sit on the hill itself, often on blocks of 1,000 square metres or more. Residents are older on average than most of Brisbane, and many have lived here a long time. That shapes the work: Wi-Fi across big multi-level homes, new computers set up simply, scam cleanups, backups and the shopping-centre tech that comes home in a box. Book online or call and we'll come up the hill to you.

Streets & Areas We Cover in Mount Ommaney

We cover every pocket of Mount Ommaney 4074 — here is what we see most in each part of the suburb.

The Mount Ommaney Centre & Dandenong Road Hub Area

The large shopping centre with a library and bus station, opposite the Mount Ommaney Hotel. Retailers and offices here need network support, and new devices bought here often need setting up at home.

The hilltop streets

The homes on the mountain with views of the river, the city and the countryside. Large, multi-level houses here often need mesh Wi-Fi or cabled access points to cover every floor.

The McLeod Country Golf Club

The 18-hole course in the west of the suburb. Established homes around it bring email problems, older desktops and photos that need backing up. Scam checks are a common request.

The riverside bushland & old quarry

The protected forest along the Brisbane River where a stone quarry once operated. Homes near the reserve on large blocks often want Wi-Fi reaching decks, pools and sheds.

The Centenary Highway edge

The suburb's eastern boundary, along the highway. Commuters working from home need home offices set up, reliable video calls and Microsoft 365 help. Second screens and printers round it out.

Why Mount Ommaney Chooses Geeks Brisbane

Mount Ommaney has large homes and an older population, so people want a patient technician who explains things clearly and sets the tech up to just work.

Local Mount Ommaney Knowledge

We know Mount Ommaney is mostly built on the hill, that big blocks and multi-level houses stretch a single router well past its limits, and that the shopping centre sits right on Dandenong Road.

Same-Day Visits, 7 Days

Book before 2pm and we can usually be at your Mount Ommaney door the same day. Appointments run 6am to 10pm, weekends included, at no extra charge.

Quoted Prices, No Surprises

Remote support is $125/hr and onsite is $205/hr, with no call-out or travel fee anywhere in Mount Ommaney. The price you see when you book is the price you pay.

No Fix, No Fee

No surprises — we confirm the hourly rate before we start. Visits have a one-hour minimum ($205/hr onsite, $125/hr remote), and No Fix, No Fee excludes hardware repairs and parts. And if a device turns out to need physical repair we do not provide, we tell you during the diagnosis rather than charging for work we cannot finish.

Another rep from a different company had already tried to connect my device and left me unable to use the computer. Brisbane Geek came and fixed perfectly in not time conducting checks of every aspect before leaving. I am so grateful, strongly recommend and will be a loyal customer in future. Thanks so much.

Mount Ommaney Computer Support FAQs

Mount Ommaney is on our western Centenary run, and bookings placed before about 2pm usually get a same-day visit. We're open 7 days, 6am to 10pm. Call 1300 600 004 if it's urgent.

Our house is big and the Wi-Fi doesn't cover it all. Can you fix that?

Can you help an older family member feel confident with their computer?

Yes. We set things up simply, make the text and icons easier to see, remove anything confusing, and show them how to spot scam emails and calls. We go at their pace and leave written steps.

Do you come to the house or do I drop the computer off?

We come to you. On-site support is $205/hr in Mount Ommaney with no call-out or travel fee. If the problem can be solved without a visit, remote support is $125/hr.

No Fix, No Fee applies to standard remote and on-site technical support where we are unable to resolve your issue. Where additional work is quoted and not accepted, No Fix, No Fee does not apply to that work.
