Get a Pinkenba Technician at Your Door

Pinkenba is an odd corner of Brisbane: a long, narrow strip between the airport and the river, mostly industrial, with a small residential village of a few hundred people at its centre and Myrtletown further north. Our work here is split between the freight, energy and port-side businesses along Kingsford Smith Drive and the households in the village, who can feel a long way from help. Book online or call and we will come to you.

Streets & Areas We Cover in Pinkenba

We cover every pocket of Pinkenba 4008 — here is what we see most in each part of the suburb.

Pinkenba village & McBride Road Hub Area

The small residential heart of the suburb, around the post office and war memorial. Homes here call us for NBN set-up, Wi-Fi, slow computers, email problems and new-device set-up.

Kingsford Smith Drive industrial strip

The only road in, lined with industrial and commercial sites. Businesses along here need office networks, printers, Microsoft 365 and laptops that are ready for staff.

Bulwer Island

The industrial centre of the suburb, including the gas-fired power station. Site offices and contractors need reliable connections, VPN access and properly set-up work laptops.

Myrtletown

The northern neighbourhood toward Moreton Bay. Its handful of homes and acreage-style blocks book us for internet troubleshooting, Wi-Fi to outbuildings and virus cleanups. Printers and email get sorted on the same visit.

Brisbane International Cruise Terminal & Meeandah

The river frontage opposite the port and the southern end of the suburb. Port-side and logistics offices here call for network faults, shared printers and new computer set-ups.

Why Pinkenba Chooses Geeks Brisbane

Pinkenba is mostly industry with a small village in the middle, so a flexible on-site tech who can sort a depot's network or a household's Wi-Fi is worth more here than a shop across town.

Local Pinkenba Knowledge

We know Pinkenba is reached only along Kingsford Smith Drive past the airport, so we plan visits around the airport and port traffic rather than promising a time we cannot keep.

Same-Day Visits, 7 Days

Book before 2pm and we can usually be at your Pinkenba door the same day. Appointments run 6am to 10pm, weekends included, at no extra charge.

Quoted Prices, No Surprises

Remote support is $125/hr and onsite is $205/hr, with no call-out or travel fee anywhere in Pinkenba. The price you see when you book is the price you pay.

No Fix, No Fee

No surprises — we confirm the hourly rate before we start. Visits have a one-hour minimum ($205/hr onsite, $125/hr remote), and No Fix, No Fee excludes hardware repairs and parts. And if a device turns out to need physical repair we do not provide, we tell you during the diagnosis rather than charging for work we cannot finish.

Another rep from a different company had already tried to connect my device and left me unable to use the computer. Brisbane Geek came and fixed perfectly in not time conducting checks of every aspect before leaving. I am so grateful, strongly recommend and will be a loyal customer in future. Thanks so much.

Pinkenba feels cut off. Will you actually come out for a home job?

Can you support a business or site office on Bulwer Island or Kingsford Smith Drive?

Yes. We sort networks, email, Microsoft 365, printers and staff laptops, and can set up remote access for people moving between sites. See business IT support for ongoing plans. We can work outside core hours too.

Do you come to us, or do I bring the computer in?

We come to you — there is no drop-off shop. On-site support is $205/hr with no call-out or travel fee. If it can be fixed over the internet, remote support is $125/hr.

$205/hr on-site, $125/hr remote, nothing extra for travel. No surprises — we confirm the hourly rate before we start. No Fix, No Fee applies to standard remote and on-site technical support where we are unable to resolve your issue. It excludes hardware repairs, does not guarantee a resolution within the minimum one-hour visit, and does not cover additional labour time or parts, which remain payable. Where additional work is quoted and not accepted, No Fix, No Fee does not apply to that work.
