Get a Port of Brisbane Technician at Your Door

The Port of Brisbane is a working port, not a place people live. It is container and bulk berths on reclaimed Fisherman Island, freight and logistics businesses, and the offices, depots and contractors that keep more than 2,600 ships a year moving. So our work here is business IT only: office networks, staff laptops, label and docket printers, Microsoft 365 and remote access for people moving between sites. Book online or call and we will come to your site.

Streets & Areas We Cover in Port of Brisbane

We cover every pocket of Port of Brisbane 4178 — here is what we see most in each part of the suburb.

Fisherman Island container terminals Hub Area

The heart of the port, built on reclaimed land at the river mouth. Offices and contractors here need reliable networks, docket and label printers, and laptops set up for staff and shift supervisors.

The Port of Brisbane Motorway

The freight link from the Gateway to the port gates. Transport and warehousing yards along it call us for dispatch PCs, internet that must stay up all shift, and Wi-Fi across a yard.

The bulk & general cargo berths

Coal, bulk and general cargo operations along the wharves. Site offices need network troubleshooting, backups and new computer set-ups with data moved across from old machines.

The Multi User Terminal

Where larger ocean-going cruise ships berth. Service and logistics businesses supporting ship days need laptops, printers and connections that are ready to go on a tight schedule.

The visitor centre & the shorebird roost

The public-facing side of the port and its large purpose-built migratory bird roost. Admin and environmental teams working here need standard office IT support and device set-up.

Why Port of Brisbane Chooses Geeks Brisbane

There are no homes at the port, just businesses on tight schedules, so what matters is a tech who arrives ready to fix the network, printer or laptop and get out of the way.

Local Port of Brisbane Knowledge

We know the port is reached through the Port of Brisbane Motorway and that gate and induction rules vary by site — tell us your access requirements when you book and we will plan around them.

Quoted Prices, No Surprises

No Fix, No Fee

No surprises — we confirm the hourly rate before we start. Visits have a one-hour minimum ($205/hr onsite, $125/hr remote), and No Fix, No Fee excludes hardware repairs and parts. And if a device turns out to need physical repair we do not provide, we tell you during the diagnosis rather than charging for work we cannot finish.

Another rep from a different company had already tried to connect my device and left me unable to use the computer. Brisbane Geek came and fixed perfectly in not time conducting checks of every aspect before leaving. I am so grateful, strongly recommend and will be a loyal customer in future. Thanks so much.

Port of Brisbane Computer Support FAQs

How quickly can you get to the port?

Bookings made before about 2pm usually get a same-day visit, and we are open 7 days, 6am to 10pm, so early starts and after-shift visits are possible. Call 1300 600 004 and we will be honest about timing.

Do you cover businesses inside the port precinct?

Yes, and business IT is the only kind of work we do there. Networks, Microsoft 365, email, printers, backups and staff devices. See business IT support for managed plans. We are happy to work around shift times.

We need a technician to follow site induction rules. Is that okay?

Yes. Tell us your site's access, PPE and induction requirements when you book and we will arrive prepared. If a job can be done without anyone going through the gate, remote support is often quicker.

Do you come on site, or do we bring equipment to you?

We come on site. On-site support is $205/hr with no call-out or travel fee. Remote support is $125/hr for problems that can be solved online. Many printer and email problems can be solved remotely without a gate pass.

What does port IT support cost?

$205/hr on-site or $125/hr remote, with no call-out or travel charges. No surprises — we confirm the hourly rate before we start. Visits have a one-hour minimum, and No Fix, No Fee excludes hardware repairs and parts. We agree the likely scope before starting, which makes approval easier for site managers and accounts teams.

No Fix, No Fee applies to standard remote and on-site technical support where we are unable to resolve your issue. It excludes hardware repairs, does not guarantee a resolution within the minimum one-hour visit, and does not cover additional labour time or parts, which remain payable. Where additional work is quoted and not accepted, No Fix, No Fee does not apply to that work.
