Bald Hills sits at Brisbane's northern edge, where Gympie Road meets the start of the Bruce Highway. It is a largely residential suburb with older family homes, newer estates cut from former bushland, and river flats still used for grazing on its western side. Our calls here range from family computers and school laptops to tradies working from home and properties on bigger blocks where Wi-Fi has to reach sheds and granny flats. Book online or call.

Streets & Areas We Cover in Bald Hills

We cover every pocket of Bald Hills 4036 — here is what we see most in each part of the suburb.

Bald Hills station & Gympie Road Hub Area

The suburb's transport and commercial corridor, with the station and shops along Gympie Road. Local businesses need NBN, email, printers and point-of-sale help, and nearby homes call for everyday computer fixes.

Strathpine Road & St Paul's

The streets around St Paul's Anglican School and the heritage church. Families here need school laptops set up, parental controls and Wi-Fi that copes with a house full of devices.

The newer estates

Recently developed streets on land that was bushland until a few years ago. New homes mean new NBN connections, mesh Wi-Fi, smart TVs and moving data onto new computers.

The Pine River & Tinchi Tamba side

The northern and western edge along the river and the Bald Hills Flats. Bigger blocks here need Wi-Fi to reach sheds and outbuildings, plus reliable backups for home businesses.

Kluver Street & the radio mast side

The eastern side of the suburb around the ABC's tall transmitter mast. Established homes bring slow computers, virus cleanups, printer problems and help for older residents with new devices.

Why Bald Hills Chooses Geeks Brisbane

Bald Hills mixes established homes, brand-new estates and larger riverside blocks, so the jobs swing from simple fixes to getting Wi-Fi out to a shed.

Local Bald Hills Knowledge

We know Bald Hills is where Gympie Road meets the Bruce Highway and the Gateway, and that properties toward the river flats often need a network planned around outbuildings.

Same-Day Visits, 7 Days

Book before 2pm and we can usually be at your Bald Hills door the same day. Appointments run 6am to 10pm, weekends included, at no extra charge.

Quoted Prices, No Surprises

Remote support is $125/hr and onsite is $205/hr, with no call-out or travel fee anywhere in Bald Hills. The price you see when you book is the price you pay.

No Fix, No Fee

No surprises — we confirm the hourly rate before we start. Visits have a one-hour minimum ($205/hr onsite, $125/hr remote), and No Fix, No Fee excludes hardware repairs and parts. And if a device turns out to need physical repair we do not provide, we tell you during the diagnosis rather than charging for work we cannot finish.

Another rep from a different company had already tried to connect my device and left me unable to use the computer. Brisbane Geek came and fixed perfectly in not time conducting checks of every aspect before leaving. I am so grateful, strongly recommend and will be a loyal customer in future. Thanks so much.

Bald Hills Computer Support FAQs

How quickly can you get to Bald Hills?

Bald Hills is on our northern run with easy access via Gympie Road and the Gateway. Bookings placed before about 2pm usually get a same-day visit. We are open 7 days, 6am to 10pm.

Can you get Wi-Fi out to my shed or granny flat?

Usually, yes. Depending on the distance and what is between the buildings, we use a wireless bridge, an outdoor access point or a cable run. We check the site first and tell you honestly which option will work. See Wi-Fi setup.

We have just moved into a new estate home. Can you set everything up?

Yes. We can get the NBN connection working, set up whole-home Wi-Fi, connect smart TVs and printers, and move your files onto new computers so the house works from day one.

Do you come to the house, or do I drop the computer off?

We come to you. On-site help in Bald Hills is $205/hr, with no call-out or travel fee. If the fix can be done remotely, it is $125/hr. Remote help is often quicker for software-only problems.

What does it cost?

$205/hr for on-site work and $125/hr for remote support. No call-out fee and no travel charge, even at Brisbane's northern edge, and No Fix, No Fee (excludes hardware repairs and parts). We quote the rate before we start.

No Fix, No Fee applies to standard remote and on-site technical support where we are unable to resolve your issue. It excludes hardware repairs, does not guarantee a resolution within the minimum one-hour visit, and does not cover additional labour time or parts, which remain payable. Where additional work is quoted and not accepted, No Fix, No Fee does not apply to that work.
