Get a Burbank Technician at Your Door

Burbank is a greenbelt suburb of large acreage properties, bushland and koala habitat, with only around a thousand residents spread over 30 square kilometres. Homes sit well back from the road, often with sheds, studios and granny flats, and internet connections vary from property to property. Our jobs here are mostly about getting a solid connection across a big block, home offices and security cameras. Book online or call and we will come to the property.

Streets & Areas We Cover in Burbank

We cover every pocket of Burbank 4156 — here is what we see most in each part of the suburb.

Mount Cotton Road Hub Area

The main road through the suburb, lined with acreage properties. Owners here call us for NBN troubleshooting, Wi-Fi bridged to sheds and home-office setup. Security-camera networks are common too.

Brisbane Koala Bushlands & Alperton Road

The protected bushland reserve and its main entrance. Homes on the bush edge bring us patchy coverage, security-camera networks and slow computers. Outdoor access points are often needed.

Leslie Harrison Dam & Tingalpa Creek

The eastern edge of the suburb, where properties back onto the water reserve and the creek. Large homes need mesh Wi-Fi, outdoor access points and data backups.

Sinai College

The private primary school in the suburb. Families in the surrounding properties need school laptops configured, parental controls and printers shared across the house. Home offices are common too.

Mt Petrie Recreation Reserve

The reserve in the suburb's north-west. Nearby acreage homes call for new-computer setup, virus cleanups and moving years of files and photos across. Printer setup is common too.

Why Burbank Chooses Geeks Brisbane

On acreage the router is rarely the problem — distance is. Burbank needs someone who can plan a network across outbuildings, not just reset a modem.

Local Burbank Knowledge

We know Burbank's homes sit on big blocks along Mount Cotton Road, that the Koala Bushlands entrance is on Alperton Road, and that the suburb runs right to Tingalpa Creek and the Leslie Harrison Dam reserve.

And if a device turns out to need physical repair we do not provide, we tell you during the diagnosis rather than charging for work we cannot finish.

Another rep from a different company had already tried to connect my device and left me unable to use the computer. Brisbane Geek came and fixed perfectly in not time conducting checks of every aspect before leaving. I am so grateful, strongly recommend and will be a loyal customer in future. Thanks so much.

Burbank Computer Support FAQs

How quickly can you get out to Burbank?

Burbank is on our south-eastern run. Bookings before about 2pm usually get a same-day visit, and we are open 7 days, 6am to 10pm. Call 1300 600 004 and we will give you a realistic time.

Can you get internet from the house to a shed or studio on our acreage?

Usually, yes. For longer distances we use a point-to-point wireless bridge or a cabled access point, and outdoor-rated mesh for shorter runs. We measure the signal first and explain the options. See network setup.

Our internet on the acreage is unreliable. Can you work out why?

We can. We check the NBN connection type and equipment, the router, internal cabling and Wi-Fi, and separate a network fault from a provider fault. If the provider is to blame, we give you the details to take to them.

Do you visit the property or do I drop off the computer?

We visit the property. On-site support is $205/hr and there is no call-out or travel fee, even out on acreage. Remote support is $125/hr.

How much will it cost?

$205/hr on-site and $125/hr remote. No surprises — we confirm the hourly rate before we start. Visits have a one-hour minimum, and No Fix, No Fee excludes hardware repairs and parts. Bigger acreage network jobs can be quoted first.

No Fix, No Fee applies to standard remote and on-site technical support where we are unable to resolve your issue. It excludes hardware repairs, does not guarantee a resolution within the minimum one-hour visit, and does not cover additional labour time or parts, which remain payable. Where additional work is quoted and not accepted, No Fix, No Fee does not apply to that work.
