Get a Mackenzie Technician at Your Door

Mackenzie is a small, leafy suburb with no shopping centre of its own — bushland, larger blocks and a string of residential estates built over the last decade or so. Most households here are families in newer homes, which means our jobs are about getting the whole house working: Wi-Fi that reaches a two-storey build, NBN set-up, new laptops and tablets configured, and home offices tidied up. Book online or call and we will come to the house.

Streets & Areas We Cover in Mackenzie

We cover every pocket of Mackenzie 4156 — here is what we see most in each part of the suburb.

The Mount Gravatt–Capalaba Road corridor Hub Area

The suburb's main road and its link to the Gateway Motorway. Homes and home-based businesses along here book us for NBN connection problems, router set-up and work laptops that will not connect to the office.

The newer residential estates

Hundreds of houses built in recent years. Big, modern homes often have one router in a garage cupboard, so mesh Wi-Fi, access points and smart-TV set-up are everyday calls.

Vivaldi Place & the Mackenzie schools

The streets around Mackenzie State Primary and Mackenzie State Special School. Families here need school laptops set up, parental controls configured and shared printers that work from every device.

Mount Petrie Road

A long residential road through the suburb. Long-held desktops that have slowed down, email that has stopped syncing and virus cleanups are the common jobs in these established streets.

The Bulimba Creek bushland edge

Where the suburb backs onto creek and bush. Larger blocks and detached studios or granny flats mean extending Wi-Fi out to a second building is a regular request.

Why Mackenzie Chooses Geeks Brisbane

With no shopping centre, no office blocks and a lot of newer family homes, Mackenzie needs a tech who comes to the house and sorts every device in one visit.

Local Mackenzie Knowledge

We know Mackenzie is all residential streets off Mount Gravatt–Capalaba Road, with the nearest big shops over at Carindale — so we bring what we need rather than dashing off for parts.

Same-Day Visits, 7 Days

Book before 2pm and we can usually be at your Mackenzie door the same day. Appointments run 6am to 10pm, weekends included, at no extra charge.

Quoted Prices, No Surprises

Remote support is $125/hr and onsite is $205/hr, with no call-out or travel fee anywhere in Mackenzie. The price you see when you book is the price you pay.

No Fix, No Fee

No surprises — we confirm the hourly rate before we start. Visits have a one-hour minimum ($205/hr onsite, $125/hr remote), and No Fix, No Fee excludes hardware repairs and parts. And if a device turns out to need physical repair we do not provide, we tell you during the diagnosis rather than charging for work we cannot finish.

Another rep from a different company had already tried to connect my device and left me unable to use the computer. Brisbane Geek came and fixed perfectly in not time conducting checks of every aspect before leaving. I am so grateful, strongly recommend and will be a loyal customer in future. Thanks so much.

Mackenzie Computer Support FAQs

How fast can you get to Mackenzie?

Bookings before about 2pm usually get a same-day visit, and we are open 7 days from 6am to 10pm. If it is urgent, call 1300 600 004 and we will give you an honest answer on timing.

Our new two-storey house has Wi-Fi dead spots. Can you fix that?

Yes, it is one of the most common jobs in Mackenzie's newer estates. Brick, insulation and a router tucked in the garage leave upstairs rooms weak. We test the house, then install mesh or a cabled access point where it is needed. See network and Wi-Fi setup.

Can you set up school laptops and parental controls?

Yes. We set up new school devices, connect them to the home network and printer, and configure parental controls and screen-time limits the family can actually manage. We explain it all before we leave.

Do you come to us, or do we drop the computer somewhere?

We come to your home in Mackenzie. On-site support is $205/hr with no call-out or travel fee. If the fix can be done remotely, it is $125/hr and often much quicker.

How much does a visit cost?

You pay $205/hr on-site or $125/hr remote, and nothing extra for travel or call-out. No surprises — we confirm the hourly rate before we start. Visits have a one-hour minimum, and No Fix, No Fee excludes hardware repairs and parts.

Need a Tech in Mackenzie Today?

No Fix, No Fee applies to standard remote and on-site technical support where we are unable to resolve your issue. It excludes hardware repairs, does not guarantee a resolution within the minimum one-hour visit, and does not cover additional labour time or parts, which remain payable. Where additional work is quoted and not accepted, No Fix, No Fee does not apply to that work.
